Widening the compatibility of online poker rooms seems to have become something of a trend in poker these days. To accommodate the many players who don’t play on a PC, a number of poker sites have recently launched Mac compatible online poker rooms. FullTiltPoker.com announced today that it has followed suit. Full Tilt this week launched the Beta version of its new, downloadable online poker client. The company said that much work had been put in to ensure that the software runs smoothly, and, at the time of its launch, Full Tilt reported no ?noticeable glitches.?
Until recently, Mac poker players’ options were few and far between. Players could opt for expensive PC simulation software, or else be forced to settle for a rinky-dink no-download poker option. Over the past several months, a number of online poker sites have made efforts to offer Mac poker players poker gaming on a level rivaling its PC counterpart. Full Tilt is the latest site to attempt this.
