Everest poker wants to know, and if you are a top poker player from Sweden, Denmark or Norway you can help Everest Poker find the answer. At the Everest Poker Nordic Summit, held in Barcelona Feb 24-25th 2007.
“This event takes a historic rivalry between 3 countries that are often cited as having the best poker players in the world, and creates a unique tournament structure to determine who is the “best of the best” from these countries – both as a team and individually,” said Jonathan May, Everest Poker Property Manager. “This Nordic Summit is sure to bring out some great players in an first-of-its-kind poker event.”
- Win one of the five online $22+2 Nordic Summit Finales on January 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30.
- Win one of two Swedish, two Danish or two Norwegian seats awarded through special promotions.
- Finish in the top eight point earners from your country.*
Every player who participates in any of the five Finales will receive points depending on their final standing. The top 50 finishers in each Finale are awarded points as follows:
2nd Place: 25 points
3rd Place: 22 points
4th Place: 19 points
5th Place: 17 points
6th Place: 15 points
7th Place: 13 points
8th Place: 11 points
9th Place: 9 points
10th Place: 7 points
Places 11-20: 5 points
Places 21-30: 3 points
Places 31-40: 2 points
Places 41-50: 1 point
At the conclusion of the last Nordic Summit Finale on January 30, we’ll tally up the points for all players. The top eight point earners from each country win a trip to the final event!
Each of the 30 finalists will then receive $600 in travel money to get to beautiful Barcelona, Spain.**
